I'm Christine Fisk, an Educator, Literacy Specialist, and Instructional Coach with more than 25 years of experience helping teachers grow their practice and helping students become confident, successful learners. Throughout my career, I've served in a variety of roles—including Classroom Teacher, Reading Specialist, University Evaluator and Clinical Supervisor, and most recently, Instructional Coach—giving me a broad perspective on the challenges educators face and the support they need to thrive.

I earned my Master of Education in Reading from the University of Virginia and have dedicated my career to improving literacy instruction through evidence-based practices, meaningful professional learning, and collaborative coaching. I believe the most impactful professional development happens when teachers feel supported, respected, and empowered to reflect, refine, and build on their strengths.

As an Instructional Coach with a national educational publishing company, I partnered with teachers and school leaders to implement high-quality curriculum, facilitated professional learning, and strengthened instructional practices that led to improved student outcomes. My work has also included mentoring teacher candidates, evaluating educator performance at the university level, and providing targeted reading intervention for struggling learners.

Whether I'm leading a professional development workshop, coaching teachers in classrooms, or partnering with school leadership teams, my goal is always the same: to build trusting relationships, inspire professional growth, and help create engaging learning environments where every student has the opportunity to succeed.
