Why Schools Partner With Me
For more than 25 years, I've served education from multiple perspectives—as a Classroom Teacher, Reading Specialist, University Clinical Supervisor, Evaluator, and an Instructional Coach. These experiences have given me a deep understanding of both the daily realities teachers face and the leadership needed to support meaningful instructional change.
Most recently, as an Instructional Coach with a national publishing company, I partnered with educators across multiple schools to facilitate professional learning, support curriculum implementation, and coach teachers in applying evidence-based instructional practices that improve student learning. My coaching focused on building teacher capacity through collaboration, reflection, and practical classroom application—not evaluation.
I believe the best coaching is built on trust, curiosity, and respect. Teachers deserve a thought partner who listens first, celebrates what's working, and helps them refine their practice in ways that are both manageable and meaningful.
